It does not encode a receptor or protein, and there is currently no evidence for its direct role in signal transduction, disease, or drug interaction. It may be referenced in contexts involving gene expression regulation rather than pharmacologic targeting, and is not a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or conventional therapeutic target[3].
