Target intelligence / Profile preview
CNOT10 antisense RNA 1 (CNOT10-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA gene in the human genome. It does not encode a protein and its specific biological function is not well characterized. CNOT10-AS1 resides antisense to the CNOT10 gene, which encodes a subunit of the CCR4-NOT transcription complex. While antisense lncRNAs often regulate gene expression by interacting with their sense gene counterparts, there is currently no direct evidence detailing CNOT10-AS1’s functional role, disease involvement, or suitability as a therapeutic target[5][4]. It is referenced in genetic databases but not in drug development or disease literature, and has not been identified as a biomarker or associated with safety concerns.
