Overview

Cognitive reactivity refers to the degree to which a person's negative thinking patterns or dysfunctional attitudes are triggered by mild changes in mood, particularly sadness. It is not a molecule or receptor but rather a psychological construct and marker that predicts the risk of depression relapse after remission. Studies have shown that individuals who exhibit greater increases in dysfunctional attitudes when exposed to sad moods are at higher risk for depressive relapse over time. This phenomenon has been observed regardless of whether patients were treated with antidepressant medication or cognitive behavioral therapy[1][3][5]. Cognitive reactivity is considered an important vulnerability factor for recurrence of depression but does not represent a molecular target suitable for drug interaction or direct therapeutic intervention. Because "Cognitive reactivity patterns associated with depression relapse" describes a psychological process and not a discrete molecular entity such as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, etc., it should not be classified as a therapeutic target. Therefore: is_target should be set to false. is_incorrect should be set to true because the entry does not correspond to an actual molecule/receptor/therapeutic target but rather describes clinical/psychological phenomena[1][3][5].
