Target intelligence / Profile preview
CSF2RBP1, also known as CSF2RB pseudogene 1, is a genomic DNA sequence similar to the functional colony stimulating factor 2 receptor beta (CSF2RB) gene but lacks the ability to encode a functional protein. As a pseudogene, it does not participate in signal transduction, immune response, or serve as a drug target. Its presence may be useful for comparative genomics but, unlike the CSF2RB gene, it has no established biological or disease role and is not included in pathways or therapeutic strategies[4].
