Overview
C5AR1 is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) that serves as the primary receptor for the complement component C5a, an anaphylatoxin generated during activation of the complement system. It plays a central role in mediating inflammatory responses and is implicated in various diseases, including chronic inflammatory diseases, cancer, and COVID-19.
