Target intelligence / Profile preview
CRAd-S-pk7 is a conditionally replicative oncolytic adenovirus designed for targeted tumor cell lysis. Its replication is controlled by the survivin promoter, restricting viral gene expression to cells with high survivin activity. The adenoviral fiber protein is modified with a polylysine motif (pk7) to enhance cell entry. It is often delivered via neural stem cells (NSCs) to protect it from neutralizing antibodies and improve targeting.
Selective replication in survivin-expressing tumor cells leading to oncolytic lysis and induction of anti-tumor immunity.
