Constitutive coactivator of PPAR-gamma-like protein 1 (FAM120A)

Constitutive coactivator of PPAR-gamma-like protein 1 (FAM120A) is a cytosolic, RNA-binding scaffolding protein implicated in oxidative stress response and cancer biology. It facilitates cell survival signaling under oxidative stress conditions, potentially by regulating SRC family kinase activation and acting as a scaffold for PI3-kinase activation. FAM120A binds to IGF2 RNA, promoting the production of IGF2 protein.
