Contactin associated protein family member 3C (CNTNAP3C) is a protein-coding gene in humans and a member of the neurexin/contactin-associated protein family, which is primarily involved in cell adhesion processes in the nervous system[1][5][12]. Its predicted function is cell adhesion at the membrane, but there is little direct functional or physiological characterization specific to CNTNAP3C. While other paralogs in this family play roles in neuron-glia and glial-glia contacts and are implicated in neurological disorders, there are no direct disease associations, biomarkers, or therapeutically relevant known interactions for CNTNAP3C as of current knowledge[1][3][10][11][12]. It is not recognized as a validated drug target or receptor.
