Target intelligence / Profile preview
C1GALT1 pseudogene 3 (C1GALT1P3) is a non-coding pseudogene named in relation to C1GALT1, an enzyme responsible for the synthesis of the core 1 O-glycan structure. Unlike C1GALT1, this pseudogene does not produce a functional protein and does not have established roles in biological processes, disease, or therapeutic intervention. Pseudogenes such as C1GALT1P3 are often the result of genomic duplication or retrotransposition events and typically lack protein-coding capability or regulatory function. There is no evidence supporting C1GALT1P3 as a therapeutic target or clinical biomarker.
