CPNE2-DT (CPNE2 divergent transcript) is a divergent non-coding RNA transcribed near the CPNE2 gene locus. Divergent transcripts are a class of short, often unstable non-coding RNAs produced from the promoters of protein-coding genes but do not encode proteins or serve as recognized therapeutic targets.
