Target intelligence / Profile preview

Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever Virus Antigen (CCHFV Antigen)

Target
CCHFV Antigen
Molecular classification
Viral protein, Nucleoprotein, Glycoprotein
01

Overview

Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus (CCHFV) antigens, including the nucleoprotein (NP) and glycoproteins Gn/Gc, are key targets for diagnostic assays and potential vaccine development. The NP is highly immunogenic and widely used for serological screening. Glycoproteins are involved in viral entry and also elicit immune responses. These antigens are being explored as vaccine candidates, but no licensed vaccines are currently available.
