CSE1L antisense RNA 1 (CSE1L-AS1), also known as CSE1L divergent transcript, is a long non-coding RNA transcribed from the CSE1L locus in the antisense orientation. Unlike the protein-coding CSE1L gene, which encodes a nuclear export protein involved in nuclear transport, chromatin modification, and cancer progression[1][2][3], CSE1L-AS1's specific biological functions and role in disease are not established in major databases or literature. There is currently no evidence that CSE1L-AS1 serves as a therapeutic target or is associated with drug interactions, mechanisms of action, biomarker status, or safety concerns. The scientific focus to date has been on the protein-coding gene CSE1L rather than its antisense or divergent transcript.
