Overview

CSRP1 antisense RNA 1 (CSRP1-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA transcribed from the antisense strand of the CSRP1 gene locus[4]. There are currently no established biological functions or roles for CSRP1-AS1 in normal or disease states in major biomedical sources, nor is there evidence of its use as a therapeutic target, biomarker, or mechanism of drug action. It is distinct from the protein-coding gene CSRP1 (cysteine and glycine rich protein 1), which is implicated in multiple cancers and cellular processes[1].
