Target intelligence / Profile preview
CSTF3 divergent transcript (CSTF3-DT), also known as CSTF3 antisense RNA 1 (head to head) and CSTF3-AS1, is a long non-coding RNA gene located on chromosome 11 (forward strand), adjacent to the CSTF3 protein-coding gene[3]. Unlike CSTF3, which codes for a subunit of the cleavage stimulation factor complex involved in mRNA processing, CSTF3-DT is transcribed in a divergent (head-to-head) orientation relative to CSTF3, and does not appear to code for a functional protein[3]. There is currently limited functional or disease association information for CSTF3-DT, and it is not a recognized therapeutic target.
