Target intelligence / Profile preview
CTDNEP1 pseudogene 2 (CTDNEP1P2) is a processed pseudogene corresponding to the CTD nuclear envelope phosphatase 1 gene. Unlike its parent gene CTDNEP1, which does encode a membrane-associated serine/threonine phosphatase involved in nuclear envelope and endoplasmic reticulum membrane regulation, CTDNEP1P2 is not protein encoding. There is no evidence for this pseudogene functioning as a molecular target, biological effector, or clinical biomarker[3].
