Overview

CDK17 is a serine/threonine protein kinase and a member of the cyclin-dependent kinase family. It is predicted to be involved in the regulation of cell cycle phase transition and may play a role in terminally differentiated neurons. CircCDK17, a circular RNA derived from the CDK17 gene, has been implicated in promoting proliferation and metastasis of ovarian and cervical cancer cells.
