CYFIP-related Rac1 interactor B (CYRIB) is a cytosolic protein that regulates the actin cytoskeleton by negatively modulating RAC1 signaling and limiting actin polymerization, particularly by inhibiting the Scar/WAVE complex[1][2][5]. This protein helps control cell migration, chemotaxis, and polarization by focusing protrusive signals and restraining the complexity of pseudopodia.
