Cytotoxic cytostatic activity via chemotherapy agents refers to the ability of antineoplastic drugs to kill cancer cells (cytotoxic) or halt their proliferation (cytostatic) through a variety of molecular mechanisms, including induction of DNA damage, inhibition of nucleic acid synthesis, disruption of microtubules, and activation of cell death pathways.
