Overview

Dabie bandavirus antigens encoded by GLS-5140 refer to the structural proteins of the virus—specifically the envelope glycoproteins (Gn and Gc) and the nucleoprotein (NP)—that are expressed in vivo following the administration of the GLS-5140 DNA vaccine (Source: GeneOne LifeScience). Mechanism of action

GLS-5140 is a DNA vaccine that, upon delivery into host cells via electroporation, utilizes the host's cellular machinery to express Dabie bandavirus antigens (Gn, Gc, and NP).
