Deltastream DP3 diagonal-flow pump (DP3)

The Deltastream DP3 diagonal-flow pump (commonly called the DP3 or Medos DP3) is a third-generation mechanical blood pump designed for use in extracorporeal life support (ECLS) applications, including pediatric and neonatal ECMO. The device is characterized by a pivot-mounted, magnetically driven, shrouded impeller with four flat blades, combining features of axial and centrifugal pumps (“diagonal-flow”)[1][3][9].
