Overview
DEPDC1 plays important roles in cell signaling and transcriptional regulation. It functions as a transcriptional repressor (e.g., via the DEPDC1A-ZNF224 complex) and its overexpression is associated with several cancers, including bladder cancer and lung adenocarcinoma. It can upregulate RAS expression to inhibit autophagy or promote tumorigenesis.
