Differentiation Antigen A33 (GPA33)

Target
GPA33
Molecular classification
Cell surface glycoprotein, Immunoglobulin superfamily
01

Overview

Differentiation Antigen A33 (GPA33) is a cell surface glycoprotein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is highly expressed on the basolateral surfaces of epithelial cells in the small intestine and colon, as well as in a high percentage of colorectal, gastric, and pancreatic cancers. Due to its restricted expression profile and high prevalence in colorectal cancer, A33 serves as an attractive target for antibody-based therapies, including radioimmunotherapy and bispecific T-cell engager antibodies.
