DIP2C antisense RNA 2 (DIP2C-AS2) is a long non-coding RNA transcribed in the antisense orientation relative to the DIP2C gene[3]. While its precise biological functions and roles in disease are not well-characterized, it is part of the class of antisense RNAs, which may be involved in the regulation of gene expression at the transcriptional or post-transcriptional level. There is currently no evidence that DIP2C-AS2 is a therapeutic target. No drugs or biomarkers are known to be associated with this RNA transcript[3]. *This entry refers specifically to the antisense non-coding RNA, not the protein-coding DIP2C gene (Disco Interacting Protein 2 Homolog C), which is sometimes discussed in neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric research[5][1].*
