Discoidin Domain Receptor 1 (DDR1) is a receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) activated by collagen binding. It regulates cell adhesion, proliferation, differentiation, and migration, and is implicated in cancer, fibrosis, and inflammation. DDR1 modulates multiple intracellular pathways, including RhoA-ROCK signaling. Several small molecule inhibitors originally developed against Abl kinases (imatinib/dasatinib/nilotinib) also inhibit DDR kinases.
