Diverse antigens and autoantibodies is a broad descriptive category rather than a specific molecular target or receptor. For instance, intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) is used to neutralize a diverse array of pathogenic autoantibodies, while therapies like rituximab target the B cells responsible for producing them (Lünemann et al., Journal of Clinical Investigation, 2015). In clinical diagnostics, specific antigens and autoantibodies are used as biomarkers to identify infections or monitor the progression of autoimmune conditions (NIH, StatPearls, 2023).
