Target intelligence / Profile preview
DNAAF11 pseudogene 1 (DNAAF11P1, LRRC6P1) is a human pseudogene located on chromosome 11 and is related by sequence to the functional DNAAF11 (Dynein axonemal assembly factor 11) gene, which is involved in ciliary function. However, DNAAF11P1 does not encode a functional protein and has no known direct role in biological processes or disease[1][3]. It should not be mistaken for the functional gene DNAAF11, which is associated with primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD)[2][4].
