Target intelligence / Profile preview
DNAJC2 pseudogene 1 (DNAJC2P1) is a human pseudogene related to the DNAJC2 gene, which encodes DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member C2. While the functional DNAJC2 gene is involved in chaperone activities relating to protein folding and gene expression regulation, DNAJC2P1 does not produce a functional protein and currently has no established biological, pathological, or pharmacological role[6].
