Target intelligence / Profile preview
Double homeobox 4 like 15 (DUX4L15) is a *pseudogene* related to the double homeobox 4 (DUX4) gene. While DUX4 is a well-characterized transcription factor involved in early embryonic development and misexpressed in diseases such as facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy, DUX4L15 does not have an established protein product or known function. There is no evidence that DUX4L15 is a therapeutic target or relevant biomarker. All critical functional or pathological data concern the DUX4 gene, not its pseudogenes[1][3][4][5].
