Overview

DTX2P1-UPK3BP1-PMS2P11 readthrough, transcribed pseudogene is a locus on chromosome 7q11.23 representing naturally occurring readthrough transcription that spans three adjacent pseudogenes: DTX2P1 (DTX2 pseudogene 1), UPK3BP1 (uroplakin 3B pseudogene 1), and PMS2P11 (PMS1 homolog 2, mismatch repair system component pseudogene 11). Some transcripts may extend to PMS2P9. These readthrough transcripts are classified as non-protein coding and are not believed to encode functional proteins. There is currently no compelling evidence for a biological role as a functional lncRNA or as a regulator in disease. No therapeutic drugs or clinical biomarker roles have been associated with this locus, and it is not regarded as a candidate for targeted therapy or pharmacological modulation.
