Dynamin 1 pseudogene 30 (DNM1P30) is a non-protein coding genomic element classified as a pseudogene, meaning it represents a sequence that resembles the *Dynamin 1* gene but does not produce a functional protein product[4]. DNM1P30 is clearly distinct from the functional *Dynamin 1* protein (DNM1), which is involved in clathrin-mediated endocytosis and is implicated in neurological disorders[1][2][3][5]. DNM1P30 is not a therapeutic target or molecular entity relevant to pharmacology, and its assignment in target discovery or pharmacological databases would be considered incorrect.
