Target intelligence / Profile preview
Dynamin 1 pseudogene 51 (DNM1P51) is a human pseudogene related to the *dynamin 1* gene, designated as such due to sequence similarity to the functional dynamin 1 gene (DNM1), but lacking the capability to code for a functional protein. Unlike the proper DNM1 gene—which encodes a mechanochemical enzyme with critical roles in membrane fission, endocytosis, and neuronal function—the DNM1P51 pseudogene has no demonstrated biological function and is not implicated in disease, therapy, or diagnostics.
None. There is no drug mechanism of action for a pseudogene.
