Dynein light chain LC8-type 1 pseudogene 2 (DYNLL1P2) is a non-protein-coding segment of DNA in the human genome annotated as a pseudogene derived from the DYNLL1 gene, which encodes a light chain component of the cytoplasmic dynein motor complex. Unlike its parent gene, DYNLL1P2 does not produce a functional protein and currently has no known biological role or relevance as a therapeutic target[8][9]. In general, pseudogenes like DYNLL1P2 may have regulatory functions (such as involvement in gene regulation via siRNA/miRNA mechanisms), but there is no reported evidence for such functions related to DYNLL1P2 itself[6]. DYNLL1P2 is not a functional protein target, is not considered a therapeutic or biological target, and has no established aliases, functions, disease roles, or drug interactions. It is a pseudogene without known regulatory function or clinical relevance[8][9].
