Target intelligence / Profile preview
E2F transcription factor 6 pseudogene 1 (E2F6P1) is a human pseudogene related to the E2F transcription factor family, specifically E2F6. Unlike its protein-coding counterpart, E2F6P1 does not produce a functional protein and is not involved in cellular processes such as cell cycle regulation, transcriptional control, or disease pathogenesis. Functional studies, disease associations, and drug interactions for the E2F family apply to active gene members such as E2F6 and not to this pseudogene.
