EFCAB10 antisense RNA 1 (EFCAB10-AS1)

EFCAB10 antisense RNA 1 (EFCAB10-AS1) is a long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) classified as an antisense transcript, meaning it is transcribed from the DNA strand opposite to the coding sequence of the EFCAB10 gene. Like other antisense RNAs, it is presumed to regulate gene expression through RNA-RNA interactions or by influencing chromatin structure and epigenetic modification at its locus.
