Target intelligence / Profile preview
EGFLAM antisense RNA 3 (EGFLAM-AS3) is a predicted long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) transcribed antisense to the protein-coding gene EGFLAM on chromosome 5p13.1[1][4][7]. There is currently no evidence that EGFLAM-AS3 has a defined biological function, protein product, disease association, or therapeutic relevance[1][4][7]. Most scientific and biomedical focus is on the protein-coding gene EGFLAM—important in synaptic function, retinal signaling, and as an emerging biomarker in cancer and other diseases[2][3]. However, EGFLAM-AS3 itself is primarily listed in gene databases without experimental characterization and is not currently considered a therapeutic target.
