Target intelligence / Profile preview
EGFLAM antisense RNA 4 (EGFLAM-AS4) is a non-protein coding antisense long non-coding RNA located on chromosome 5. It is transcribed from the opposite strand of the EGFLAM gene, which encodes EGF-like, fibronectin type III and laminin G domains protein. EGFLAM-AS4 is annotated in genomic databases (NCBI Gene: 100852408, Ensembl: ENSG00000248730), but its molecular function and disease relevance remain largely uncharacterized. Like other antisense lncRNAs, it may influence the expression and regulation of its sense gene (EGFLAM), but specific regulatory activity or pathological roles have not been described.
