However, there is no evidence that ENSG00000249960 is a drug target, biomarker, or plays a direct role in disease. The entry is considered "incorrect" for therapeutic targeting because pseudogenes are not conventionally targeted in drug discovery, and all authoritative sources classify it only as a pseudogene[1][5][10].
