Overview

ENTR1 pseudogene 2 (ENTR1P2) is a human pseudogene corresponding to the functional ENTR1 gene, also known as endosome-associated trafficking regulator 1. ENTR1P2, like other pseudogenes, is considered a nonfunctional genetic element that does not encode a protein and does not have established molecular, therapeutic, or biomarker roles. Some pseudogenes may have regulatory RNA roles in certain biological contexts, but there is no evidence ENTR1P2 has any such function[8][10].
