Overview

The Ephrin family of tyrosine kinases (Eph receptors) comprises the largest subfamily of receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs). These receptors bind membrane-bound ephrin ligands on adjacent cells, mediating bidirectional signaling crucial for diverse processes like embryonic development, tissue patterning, cell migration, axon guidance, and immune function. Dysregulation is implicated in cancer and other diseases.
