Epididymal protein 3B (EDDM3B) is a secreted protein encoded by the EDDM3B gene, primarily expressed by epithelial cells lining the human epididymal duct. It is implicated in the process of sperm maturation and is believed to play a role in modifying the sperm membrane as spermatozoa transit through the epididymis. There is currently no evidence for its role as a therapeutic target, nor for involvement in recognized human diseases or drug interactions[1][2][3][8].
