ERICH6 antisense RNA 1 (ERICH6-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA transcribed from the antisense strand of the ERICH6 locus. As an antisense RNA, it regulates gene expression at various levels, including transcription and RNA stability, and may exert cis or trans regulatory effects. ERICH6-AS1 is involved in modulating cell proliferation, apoptosis, and immune responses. It has recently emerged as an immune-related lncRNA contributing to molecular signatures for prognostic prediction in cervical squamous cell carcinoma but has not yet been reported as a druggable or classic therapeutic target. Current research focuses on its utility as a biomarker and its mechanistic role in cancer and immune regulation, but there is no clinical use or direct pharmacological targeting established to date[5][6][7].
