EEF1A1P20 itself does not encode a functional protein and is not known to serve as a therapeutic target, biomarker, or direct participant in disease. Its biological function, if any, is currently poorly characterized, and it is mainly referenced as a genomic marker with homology to EEF1A1. Pseudogenes such as EEF1A1P20 can sometimes regulate their parental genes or produce non-coding RNAs, but there is no evidence of specific regulatory or translational activity for EEF1A1P20[1][2].
