EEF1A1P49 does not encode a functional protein product, and there is no evidence that it has a direct role in biological processes or human disease, nor is it considered a drug target or therapeutic receptor[1][3]. Pseudogenes related to EEF1A1 are numerous in the genome and, while some pseudogenes can have functional roles in regulation or disease, there is currently no data supporting such a role for EEF1A1P49 specifically[1][3].
