Eva-1 homolog B (EVA1B) is a human protein encoded by the EVA1B gene, which is also known as FAM176B and C1orf78. It is a predicted single-pass membrane protein and the paralog of EVA1A, with its gene located on chromosome 1 (ENS00G000142694)[2][4][5][8]. EVA1B is predicted to be localized in membranes, but currently, there is little definitive information about its molecular function, biological roles, or disease relevance in humans.
