Excess Liver Fire

Excess Liver Fire is not a molecule, receptor, enzyme, transporter, or any recognized therapeutic target in biomedical science. Instead, it is a syndrome described within Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). In TCM theory, "Liver Fire" refers to an excess accumulation of heat and yang energy within the liver meridian system—a metaphorical construct rather than an anatomical organ.
