EXOC3 antisense RNA 1 (EXOC3-AS1) is a long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) transcribed from the antisense strand relative to the EXOC3 gene. Like other antisense RNAs, EXOC3-AS1 is thought to participate in the regulation of gene expression, potentially impacting transcription, mRNA stability, or translation through interactions with its corresponding sense strand or associated chromatin regions[1][2][3].
