Target intelligence / Profile preview
EXOC7P1 (EXOC7 Pseudogene 1) is a pseudogene of the EXOC7 gene. It does not encode a functional protein and therefore is not regarded as a therapeutic target or relevant in drug discovery or clinical biomarker contexts. The only significance of EXOC7P1 is its relation to the parent gene EXOC7, which is a functional component of the exocyst complex, involved in exocytosis and vesicular trafficking[5]. However, EXOC7P1 itself has no known biological function, disease association, or direct impact as a molecular target.
