Target intelligence / Profile preview
FBXO39 (F-box protein 39) is a cancer-testis antigen (CTA) that is normally expressed in immune-privileged tissues such as the testis, but is aberrantly expressed in various cancer types. It belongs to the F-box family and plays roles in regulating cellular functions including proliferation, apoptosis, and immune responses. It functions as an oncogene, promoting cell proliferation, inhibiting apoptosis, and enhancing stemness and aggressiveness in cancer cells.
Inhibition of FBXO39 reduces cancer cell proliferation and promotes apoptosis
