Target intelligence / Profile preview
Family with sequence similarity 110 member D (FAM110D) is a protein-coding gene that encodes a largely uncharacterized protein. FAM110D exhibits cytoplasmic and/or membranous expression in a wide range of human tissues[6]. Recent expression studies highlight notably high protein expression in endothelial cells and possible expression in granulosa cells[2]. Genetic studies have implicated FAM110D as a candidate gene for blood pressure regulation and hypertension risk, although its precise biological mechanism and role as a therapeutic target have not been established[4]. There are currently no known drugs interacting with FAM110D, and its specific molecular function remains undefined in the published literature[1][4][2].
