Family with sequence similarity 24 member B (FAM24B) is a human protein encoded by a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 10. It is primarily found in the extracellular region and is predicted to act as a local modulator of key ion transporters, such as V-ATPase and CFTR, often enhancing or inhibiting their activities[3][9][13]. Its protein domain and biological pathway annotations remain limited, and its molecular functions are not fully identified[10].
